Ray Key Signature Box-Turning Tools by Henry Taylor

Used mainly for making boxes from hard, dense end-grain materials. Internal hollowing is made easy with the 60° angle of the gouges, allowing a pivot cutting action. The long side grind is used for pulling the tool along the outside. The skew has a very long radius bevel for long cuts, shear-scraping on endgrain and for under-cutting the dovetails required by many bowl chucks. The scrapers are ideal for truing up the insides of curved and straight-walled boxes and vessels.
