Wagner Moisture Meters

Wagner produces the finest line of moisture meters. They use a 3-dimensional electromagnetic field to detect moisture in wood and other materials. The moisture content of wood changes as humidity in the environment changes, leading to wood movement. Wagner meters measure wood moisture content without damaging the wood as pin-type meters can. Thus, you can measure either rough lumber or finished products without worry.

Like all moisture meters, Wagner meters are calibrated to Douglas Fir. The relative MC of other species are determined by using a reference chart that compensates for difference in specific gravity.

is perfect for the small shop or hobbiest.
Narrow sensor is perfect for testing smaller
pieces of wood. Measures from 4% to 22%
MC, and is best suited for wood thicknesses
between 0.5 and 1 inch. Readout is by a
series of LED's.
