The Cutting Edge is proud to announce the introduction of M4 HSS turning tools from Henry Taylor

M4 steel is about twice as abrasion resistant as standard M2 high speed steel, resulting in a more durable edge. M4 has been proven around the world as a tool steel appropriate for woodturning, unlike some of the new alloys being introduced by other manufacturers.
Several of the tools shown below are exclusive offerings from The Cutting Edge, designed by Steve LeGrue. These include the HM00 9/16" shallow gouge. The others are M4 upgrades of Taylor favorites. All are fitted with beautiful Ash handles to distinguish them from their M2 brethren.
