Standard & Low-angle Block Planes
The iron on the standard block plane is bedded at 20 degrees
The low angle block palne (12.5 degree bedding angle) is ideal for highly
figured woods or end grain.

This plane has several unique features that make it one of my favorites.
The low angle iron is skewed to facilitate clean cutting. The plane has
a fence for rebates and a removable face for shoulder planing.
