The JML1014 is JET's all cast iron lathe with a 10" swing and 14" between centers. It features a 1/2 HP totally enclosed fan-cooled induction motor and 6-step pulley offering speeds from 500 to 3900 rpm. The motor has enough power to allow me to take a 3/8" cut with a bowl gouge without bogging down. The tool rest banjo and tailstock use cam locks for easy adjustment. The headstock spindle is 1" x 8 tpi with a #2MT and the tailstock is #2MT . At 60 lbs the JML1014 is massive enough for pen turning and other light applications without being bolted down.
